In the coming days I am going to discuss my experiences with the BlackBerry Curve from T-Mobile. I know it is not the latest phone to hit the market but, after having had it for a few weeks and using it in a wide variety of ways, I would like to explain my experiences and perhaps get any feedback or suggestions to get more out of the device.
I must say, after owning the 8700g for the last few years, I am very happy with what the upgrade has brought. The wifi access gives it much greater flexibility to act as not only a phone in areas without cell reception, but also in terms of media and even mere web-browsing. Some things I will speak to in the coming days:
- Call quality on the wifi network
- Using it to interface with Orb and other media
- Bluetooth connections
- My favorite BlackBerry applications
- The built-in camera
- The difference in size as compared to my previous BlackBerry
- My favorite cases for the BlackBerry
- The way I choose to organize my life with it (as it interfaces with Microsoft Outlook)
Please stop back over the next few days to read more about this (and other topics) and to offer your advice and suggestions on the various uses I have found for the BlackBerry. Remember, I’m just an “everyday Joe” using it for practical reasons. I’m not a bonafied “reviewer” who is out trying to turn the device into anything from a shoe-horn to a medical device (though if you have any practical reasons for doing so, do share).
